Depositional Features.

Here are some depositional features found in coastal areas, they are formed where the sea deposits material that it has been carrying or transporting.

Beaches are common depositional coastal features. They are stretches along the coastline, made up of pebbles or sand. They are formed when the sea deposits material on the shore.

Spit

Spits are depositional landforms found in some coastal areas. They are banks of sand or shingle which are built by the sea. They are usually found across river estuaries.

These two depositional features are the most common ones, and they can be found both in the United Kingdom, and in other parts of the world.
